Christian Ed is back in full swing after a Christmas break.
Here are some dates to remember. February 10th at 2:00 pm there will
be tryouts for the CE performance of "Footloose". There are many roles to be portrayed and if your child would like
to sing - they must be prepared with a verse of a pop song at the audition. If they are going to dance or read - they
too will be given a chance to show their talents. There is room for everyone in the production and we hope all will
participate. Feb
10th at 6 PM will be the kick-off meeting for our confirmation class. Parents and children who are being confirmed in
June or would like to retake the class need to attend this informational meeting. The date and time of the classes is
currently being determined and will be printed in the bulletin - so keep an eye out for it. April 27th is the date set aside for our kids to
put on their performance of "Footloose". Please leave your calendars open. Time to be determined and put in the

Conference Center opened yesterday, and by the end of the business day, nearly 100 young people were already scheduled for
a week of learning and growing in the love of God, neighbor, and self. This year's offerings include opportunities for families,

PARENTS’ CORNER Ahh - those winter months. Fun for the

are so many museums that you can get passes to at your local library. Give it a try - you'll never know where you'll
end up!

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
AT UNITY HILL UCC
Have you heard about what is GREAT in Christian Ed at Unity Hill?
· We have
a NEW Preschool Class.
The children are able to make offerings during Sunday school based on the monthly themes; items
are donated to local agencies.
· We have the BEST Sunday
school teachers a church can have!
We have a Youth Group for kids ages 11-15 that meets every other week.
· We have unbelievable
Computer lessons once a month!
· We have
a creative Puppet Ministry!
We now have a small snack after Sunday school!
· We have
a LOT of FUN learning about God!!!!
We are looking forward to a great year!
The classes also utilize a Computer
Lab each month, where children learn about God using Christian software.
In addition, the Middle and
Older classes enjoy a Puppet Ministry, which allows children to work as puppeteers to enhance and share
their Sunday school lessons.
In 2010, children in Middle School and up (ages 11 - 15) may participate in the Unity
Hill Youth Group.
Nursery and Toddler Care
We also offer Nursery and Toddler Care
each Sunday, where our youngest children enjoy loving care, positive attention, and the comfort of the faith community.
