Who We Are
Unity Hill UCC is a community of faith, committed to serving God through our worship, fellowship,
and outreach. We covenant with God and one another to walk together as followers of Jesus Christ. We celebrate
the church as the community of all believers, regardless of race, age, gender or life situation.
Unity Hill UCC is a proud member of the United Church of Christ (UCC), a mainstream Protestant
denomination, which seeks to be a multi-racial, multi-cultural, welcoming, and justice seeking church.
Our History
Unity Hill
UCC was formed in 1988 with the merger of two local churches: Park Street Congregational Church and Trinity
United Church. These congregations
were committed to unity in Christ. We came together in faith, trusting that with God's guidance, we would
worship and serve faithfully to benefit the church members and the area community. With this union, our church lives
out the motto of the United Church of Christ: "That they may all be one."
While our church
is only 19 years old, we have a long, rich heritage from our parent churches. We honor our ancestors in faith, and we
celebrate the new life God has brought to our community of faith.
Over the past 20
years, our church has enjoyed meaningful worship, significant mission work, and delightful fellowship.
In 2008, Unity Hill UCC celebrated our
20th Birthday with joy, as we rejoice in all that God has done for us.
